All around the Rofan cable car top station, hikers can find a wide variety of refreshment stops. All of them offer wonderful views of the Rofan mountains and allow you to enjoy the well-deserved break to the fullest.
The Mauritzalm in the Rofan Mountains is just a 10-minute walk from the top station of the Rofan Cable Car. This rustic alpine hut is a popular destination for families and hikers. On the sun terrace, guests can enjoy fresh alpine products, Tyrolean delicacies, and the magnificent view of the Dalfazer Wände.
Enjoy the most beautiful view of the Rofan mountains from the terrace or relax in the cosy parlour. The Almstüberl indulges you with traditional Tyrolian delicacies. Its homemade cakes and strudels are particularly popular. You will find the Almstüberl right next to the top station of the Rofan cable car.
The Erfurter hut is a beautiful, cosy hut framed by the limestone walls of the Rofan. It belongs to the Ettlingen Alpine Club and is situated in a wonderful panoramic position on the Mauritzköpfl at an altitude of 1,831 m, in the immediate vicinity of the top station of the Rofan cable car.
At the Dalfaz Alm, the Moser family invites you to unwind and to enjoy the tranquillity of nature, but also to spend a cheerful and lively evening. Relax at 1,700 metres in the family business and take in the magnificent view on the sun terrace while enjoying the legendary Kaiserschmarren or a hearty snack.
